COVID-19: 224 confirmed cases in Nigeria.

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 10 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 224.
NCDC stated that, “Ten new cases of coronavirus have been reported in Nigeria:
Lagos had a number 6 new cases, FCT and Edo also recorded a number of 2 new cases each.

“As at 11:00am April 5, there are 224 confirmed cases of coronavirus reported in Nigeria.

“Twenty-seven have been discharged with about five deaths.”

To stem the spread of the pandemic, schools, markets, religious houses and other public places have been shut across Nigeria while President Muhammadu Buhari ordered a 14-day lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and FCT to hep stop the spread of the virus.
