Kstereo is an African gospel musician, choir director, voice coach, author and gospel waves producer and is most notably known as the gospel dance hall GENERAL of this century. Kstereo (Olafusi Kayode Meshach) is a talented, refined multiactive young soul.
He has worked with many award winning artists both home and abroad. His name is associated with some of the most well-known songs in Contemporary Christian Music.
Kstereo was born and raised in Okitipupa, Ondo State. He began singing and playing piano in church at age four. He spent his teenage years singing in the children dept. of Gospel Faith Mission Intl.(Gofamint) and with some gospel groups.
He was the Chapel Prefect of Methodist High School, Okitipupa, Ondo State, during his High school days, which helped him to greatly developed his musical talent in public singing and becoming a multi instrumentalist. Being a called man into music ministry and a lover of music, Kstereo ( born July 21, 1983 in Ondo State,Nigeria) has been an active singer and mentor from childhood- present. His charming and high pitch vocal strength makes him a good multi-genre musician.
Apart from music, Kstereo is a Chartered Laboratory Technologist,with a B.Sc (Hons) in Biochemistry. He is enjoying his career as a bachelor.
After a short interview with Kstereo, on why the long time silence and absence from desk “studio production” since 2013, he explained that, there’s a new redirection and commission as a music missionary. He is presently in the Northern field work, to take over the North for God, through godly worship. He included that the challenges are much. ” but who am I not to do the will of my father” he said.
He is the founder of Centre for Music Epistemology (CEMEP), a well known music school that has trained and produce a lot of musician, over a decade. He is the CEO of ‘okaywaves’ recording company. Kstereo is working on his new single title ‘I won’t stop’ coming out soonest
